Join me at the studio (aka, the cloud) for this transformative in-person, experiential workshop - Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness.

Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, this event is perfect for anyone looking to develop their own sustainable meditation practice.

WORKSHOP DETAILS - Introduction to Meditation & Mindfulness (MBSR focus)

When: Saturday, March 22, 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Where: The Studio (in The Cove Plaza in Deerfield Beach)

includes:

  • 2.5-hour in-person workshop

  • A 13-page custom workbook with overview of practices, concepts and science

  • 3 unique guided meditation practices to experience during the workshop, including use of a group silent headphone system

  • A journal to take notes and take home

  • Light refreshments and snacks

  • A private follow-up What's App group to stay connected after the workshop

During this in-person, 2.5-hour interactive workshop, you will learn the foundations of MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and experience various meditation techniques. You will leave with the knowledge and confidence to continue your own practice at home.

  • The definitions and fundamentals of Meditation and Mindfulness (MBSR)

  • The myths, the benefits and the science

  • The foundations of MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction)

  • The 9 attitudes of MBSR

  • A variety of MBSR meditation practices , including: Awareness of breath, Focused Attention, Body Scan, Loving Kindness/Cultivating Compassion and more

  • The exercise of Flow Journaling and how it can complement your practice
